In our pre-launch phase we provided phishing detection services to a Canadian crypto-currency and Bitcoin exchange. Predictably, these sorts of businesses are a high-value target to phishers, with possibly catastrophic consequences to their clients.

At the beginning of the trial, the exchange was experiencing phishing sites at the rate of approximately 10 to 12 separate "lookalike" sites per month.

After 8 months of Domainsure service, instances of lookalike phishing sites fell to zero.

All indications are that the cyber-criminals targeting the exchange decided to move on to another target that wasn't employing an aggressive phishing detection and takedown regimen.
